Unveiling Grain Production: A Transparent Journey with Cutting-Edge Farming Software

Discover the future of farming: explore grain production from seed to storage with our advanced Farming Software, from weather data to harvest control and analysis, leaving no stone unturned and, offering a glimpse into the future of farming.

Why Traceability Matters

Traceability is a crucial aspect of our grain production process, allowing us to track and follow the journey of each product from its origin through the various stages to its final destination. With a clear record of all actions and events, our dedication to transparency ensures accountability at every step.

At LoginEKO, we take great pride in adhering to this definition and, identifying, capturing, and sharing accurate and relevant information about our grain production. Our commitment not only provides quality visibility throughout the product life cycle but also creates an audit trail, enabling us to address any issues promptly and instilling confidence in the products we deliver.

How We Achieve Traceability

Our ever-evolving Farming Software serves as a comprehensive and reliable data source for our traceability and trackability efforts. From planning and work order scheduling to scoutings, sample & analysis handling, storage, and warehouse management, our software seamlessly integrates the wealth of information we gather.

Our agronomists meticulously plan field rotations and actions, setting templates for various operations with precise execution dates. Through our software modules, such as Work Orders and Samples&Analysis, we collect and verify extensive data for future reference.

We also leverage weather data from multiple stations we have set up in our locations, combining it with other information to enable our experts to make well-informed decisions about the optimal timing for sowing and harvesting.

With an extensive historical overview of all operations on our fields, we have access to minute details, including applied rates, elevation speeds, coverage of sowing, material usage, vehicles, implements, drivers, and work hours, all contributing to the success of each sowing operation.

The challenge we face is to effectively present this wealth of data, ensuring it is not overwhelming for our consumers. Our goal is to create a compelling and authentic story about our production, incorporating all relevant information.

Where Data is Collected

To enhance transparency, we devised a traceability report on a crop level for 2022  available here in  PDF form. This year we have gone a step further and have developed a web tool that provides even greater granularity of data compared to our previous reports – you can see an  example here. These reports, linked to the Harvest 2023 data on our wholesale page, offer invaluable insights into our production process.

Our objective is to offer a comprehensive overview of our production, ensuring transparency on key data points and empowering everyone to make informed decisions about our products.

What We Achieved

The 2023 reports represent a significant milestone in our journey, and although they are a work-in-progress  and a prototype in nature (and as such are still prone to some misalignments), we still take immense pride in them. We have gone the extra mile to include LOT size reporting, and our warehouse application, though recently launched, is already integrated, enabling visibility of available LOTs in storage.

With each LOT, we can trace back to its very first day, unveiling details about the contributing fields, seed varieties, workforce, machinery, weather conditions, and scouting reports. Harvest Control analysis data offers a holistic view of the final product.

Our efforts are ongoing, and we are dedicated to continual improvement based on user feedback. We envision expanding the timeline with more operations, offering greater granularity and deeper insights into our production’s environmental impact. Our commitment to transparency remains unwavering; stay tuned as we share further progress with you.
