At the core of our vision is full traceability, ensuring transparency at every stage, from the first seed planted to the final product in your hands.

We believe in demystifying the origins of food and giving consumers the tools to make informed choices.

This commitment comes to life in Njamito, our consumer product made primarily with LoginEKO oats. With a simple QR code scan, consumers can trace its journey back to the fields where the oats were sown.

1.

From ingredientsto customers’ hands

When crafting Njamito, we combined great taste and healthy ingredients with complete traceability. Through a QR code scan, consumers can follow Njamito’s journey from its raw ingredients, through production, HPP, and packaging, all the way to their hands.

MAKING TRANSPARENCY SIMPLE FOR FOOD PRODUCERS

Today’s consumers demand clear and reliable information about the origins and production of their food.

To meet this need, we developed The Origin, a free SaaS solution that provides QR code-based traceability. It enables food producers to provide transparency, build trust and stand out in the market.

FROM SEEDTO STORAGE

As a large-scale organic farm, we believe traceability of farming operations is important, not only for consumers and customers who buy our crops, but also for governments striving to ensure food security and a healthy environment for their citizens.

We stand behind what we grow.

The tools that power traceability

Our Farming Software serves as a data source for our traceability efforts. Its Operations and Warehouse modules collect and integrate the wealth of information we gather.

Our traceability reports provide a detailed view of our cultivation practices, safety analyses, and crop-specific quality assessments.

An extensive historical overview of all operations includes data on:

  • material usage,
  • vehicles,
  • implements,
  • area coverage,
  • dates of operations.

A HOLISTIC VIEW

We share insights into our production process and include reporting at the level of LOTs, where we can trace back all activities to their very first day.

OUR JOURNEY

Our journey started in 2022 with crop-level traceability reports in PDF format. In 2023, we advanced transparency by sharing detailed information about our crops, farming operations, and product specifications directly on our website.

Building on this progress, our Farming Software allows users to explore the traceability journey in greater detail, browsing through fields and operations for all our crops.

SUSTAINABILITY SCORE FOR
RESPONSIBLE CHOICES

Additionally, we’re supporting Oxford University’s Hestia Project, which aims to set a global standard for agricultural sustainability.

The goal is for every food product to carry a sustainability score—much like the Nutri-Score for nutrition. By combining traceability with environmental impact assessments, we believe these sustainability ratings will effectively motivate both consumers and producers to make more responsible and sustainable choices.

ENABLING FAIR LEGISLATION
THROUGH TRACEABILITY

Traceability offers an additional benefit: it enables governments and policymakers to create fair legislation grounded in accurate data.

Imagine a system where environmentally friendly practices are rewarded with equitable subsidies, and healthy, sustainable food is subject to reduced taxes—all of which can be transparently tracked with our traceability solution.

Transparency shouldn’t have a price tag, which is why The Origin is free to use for both consumers and food producers.
